St Lukes Cheetham Hill
« on: Thursday 29 September 11 23:09 BST (UK) »
Hi
I am trying to help someone who's GreatGrandfather is buried in this cemetery, he went to find the grave, but there is a iron fence around the churchyard and the gate was locked. There is only the shell of the church remaining, does anyone know how he can gain access as he would dearly love to see his ancestors last resting place and take some photos. I think he is too old to be climbing over fences.
Here's hoping
Kind Regards

From what i have read on the manchester and salford family history forum, the whole place is covered in Japanese knotweed infestation.  So i don't think public access to the grave yard will be allowed.
