"Lord Delaval" built Berwick-upon-Tweed
« on: Saturday 01 October 11 16:57 BST (UK) »
Hi there,

I'm searching for a father and son(s) who arrived in Australia [Port Philip] on the 27th Feb., 1853. Their names were John Hill snr., John Hill jnr. and possibly a Charles Hill.
The ship was the "LORD DELAVAL".
Please see the Rootschat board link ; ENGLAND/NORTHUMBERLAND /"Lord Delaval"built Berwick-upon-Tweed.

I'm hoping that I can make contact with descendants of other Lord Delaval passengers.
Maybe there is someone who knows something about this Hill family and whether or not they left Australia.
If these family members stayed in Aus. and married had children and died there as well, then it would at least rule out the possibility of them being my great and greatgreat grandfathers.

If you have them please send me any idea's or advice of where I can find out more about these Hills.

Kind regards,
