Nottingham on Film
« on: Saturday 01 October 11 23:55 BST (UK) »
Hi Chaps,

I went by chance to a filmshow at Notts library of Mitchell & Kenyon clips of Nottingham, featuring a Lace factory, Goose fair, and The Raleigh.

There were other films too, but most interesting a group called MACE www.macearchive.org are producing a DVD with all Nottingham stuff on, which should be available from them this month, and is for a limited period at a reduced price.

They are worth a look.

Best wishes,

Hi folks

I saw the films at the Meadows Library a few weeks ago.  The tram ride from Station Street to Milton Street in 1903 (?) is amazing - a Mitchell and Kenyon film - hope that appears on the Mace production
