Daisy H Wilding - born c 1908

I'd be really grateful for some help with this lady.

Daisy H Wilding married Frederick Hamblin in Rochford district, Essex in September qtr 1931. She died in Cambridge in 1960. Her age at death was 52, born 1908.

Frederick was born in West Ham, London in 1913 so she may have come from London.

I don't know anything else except the family story says that she grew up in a childrens home and didn't know her birth family.

But I don't think this is your Daisy, as a Daisy E married as well.

I think you are going to need the marriage certificate.  The birth registration KGarrad has given you is extremely likely - perhaps she called herself Daisy Helen

Have you looked at the 1911 index and tried to eliminate those on there?

As I know so little about this lady anything is possible. The only one I can see on 1911 is Daisy Ellen. Have you found others?

If Daisy DID grow up in a children's home, then maybe her real name was not Wilding? Or even Daisy!!

But I agree with Rosie99 - the marriage certificate is a must.

On the census index http://www.1911census.co.uk/search/tnaform.aspx  if you do 5 years either side of 1905 and just search Daisy Wilding it brings up 3. 

The Hendon one you could probably eliminate

the other two are Suffolk  c1904 and c1908

Thanks. I think I made my search band too narrow. I'll have a look at the others and see if they fit.
