Hi a weird possible for area of marriage, but FindMyPast has the Sister in Law as a BANCE?

Hi Keuboard - that is very interesting as the name Bance is to be found as a middle name in later generations of males in the Greenland line - yet the 1861 Census has a catherine Bourne as sister in law with the Greenland family, which tallies with IGI showing a marriage in 1860 to Mary Bourne. Is there any way we can clarify the Bance/Bourne dilemma?

1851 census he is living with a large family in Newbury Berkshire, 51, Northbrook Street. The head of the house is a Samuel  Bentall , Draper/ Silk Maker, employing 2 assistants and 1 apprentice. Details for George are

Hi as I say in 1861 FindMyPast have Catherine as a BANCE, with George & Mary, Mary and Catherine are shown as BANCE in Newbury on the 1851 census, if you need info let me know ok census ref HO107/1685/296/27
