The census page is very badly marked so best attempt is John Hillthorn head 43 bricklayers labourer, Lancs Oldham?
Mary his wife possibly 31 or 36 silk winder Lancs Manchester, sarah is sister in law to head age 14 also silk winder Manchester. Only those 3 at that house. Will look for Mary Ann next.

Am not convinced at any of the entries for mary or Mary anns. Do you have any further info on mary ann that might help narrow it down? Do you know for definite that she will be in sutton. The nearest is a mary a servant but she is shown as born middleton , not manchester  ???

Hi

Thanks for your help.

The ages and birthplace of Mary Ann and Sarah Gee are taken from the census index,  other than that I know nothing about them. I'm just trying to rule them in or out of the extended family.

Well at least Sarah is sister in law ( as against a servant) to Mr Hillthorn which might give you a clue.
