GREENLAND 1851 and 1861(Richard and sarah)
« on: Saturday 08 October 11 09:40 BST (UK) »
I am looking for Richard Greenland and his wife Sarah in 1851 and /or 1861. they were aged 35 and 40 respectively in 1841 living in Chesham, Bucks but it is posible they later moved to the Devizes/Newbury area.
Many thanks
Caroline

I've only just joined this group to search the Greenland family. So far I have GGG Grandfather Richard Greenland 1798-1875 born Devizes, Wiltshire married in 1824 to Sarah Greenland (born Parker 1800) Sons: George Buckland 1826, Alfred 1828-1883(GG Grandfather) and Richard 1830.
Alfred Greenland(merchant) married Louisa Eliza Lived in Hampstead (9 children) including Great Grandfather George Henry Greenland 1860-1923 who married Mary Jeanette M C Mertens (5children) including Grandfather Stanley Rudolph Greenland 1887-1910 who married Dorothy Lilian Molyneux Greenland(her father was Lord Mayor of London 1935) 2 children (twins) including my Father-in-law Anthony George Molyneux Greenland CBE.
I know your enquiry was several years ago but I was wondering if you were only researching the family of Sarah Greenland 1800 before she was married? p.s I have a daughter Sarah Greenland.  :)

Thank you for your reply. I was doing this research for a friend whose name is Greenland a few years ago and managed to get the tree as far as I could. All my files have now gone to France so I am unable to add this information in or see if it is appropriate. I have now marked the topic as completed and wish you luck with your research!
Many thanks
