can anybody find my grandmothers birthdate around 1880/1885 and her death around1960 her maiden name was eleanor mckean her married name was eleanor gresty salford area :) :) :)

Hello,

There is a death for Eleanor Gresty Salford but it is 1930. She was aged 52 yrs. (born c 1878).
1930 June quarter vol 8d pg 363 Salford.

Could this be her?

Could you tell us what she gave as her father's name and occupation on the marriage certificate.  Marriage was at Salford Ascension.

The only birth I can see for Eleanor McKean is 1876 in Chelsea but she marries in 1901.

She may have been born Ellen. One of mine switched between Ellen and Eleanor.

1891 has a Helen McKean 6 yrs born Pendleton with parents George and Sarah and several siblings.

thanks heywood, mary, amram, the 1904 marriage is right i have sent for the certificate not yet received the dec 1967 death seems right , but the 1911 census gives her age as 29 born pendleton salford 1882 confusing ???
