Moran Francis

Looking for any records of my grandfather, Francis Moran of King's County circa 1870 - married Elizabeth Coffey. They moved to Salford, Lancashire, Francis died around 1930 in Salford, Elizabeth in 1953.

Did Francis and Elizabeth marry in Ireland or England ?

A marriage cert might be a good place to start your search, as it would give you their father's names and occupations. These will help verify, or rule out, any possible births you locate.

Have you found Francis and Elizabeth on English census returns ?

I had a a quick look at 1901 - but didn't see them..

Hi shanew, Well I did find my Francis Moran on the UK register, living in Salford - which of course is correct, also the date would seem right as well - 1911. I guess I need to start making notes as well..! Again, thanks for the help.
