not sure how to start investigating this family....help please

hello everyone...i am at a loss as to where to start looking for this family.
.....john frazer was born in worcestershire in england, in 1791........his father, thomas j frazier was born in 1768 in burlington new jersey and died in 1850 in ohio..his mother was born in monmouth, new jersey susan warner, 1775 and died in 1840 in holmes ohio........now,
 john frazer married isabelle williams, born 1800 in allegheny, pennsylvannia. i dont know where they married, but their daughter ann jane frazer, married and had her family in ireland....
.john died in armagh ireland..
........isabelle williams parents died in ohio....... later down the track some of ann's children went to ohio as well from ireland and settled................................

gosh i am confused as to where to start looking for them, so i can find out more about them all ???? can anyone suggest any ideas ????

i have information on anne jane frazer, she married william cullen, i have their family decsendant info.

any help greatly appreciated, kind reguards from heather

I think first you should put your data in order - work out what you know for certain (you have physical documentation for it), what is just possible links or family stories.

 - someone here has Thomas and Susan with a number of children, including a Thomas J. b. 1794 in New Jersey who married three times, to Isabelle not until 1858, and who died in Ohio in 1860.

I'm not saying that that link is 100% correct, but it would be good to start with your Ann Jane Frazer from Ireland (born there? or just married there?) whose children settled in Ohio and get as many concrete details about her life as possible, so you don't end up chasing false leads.

thank you for the reply,..you are so right, i did a bit of researching last night, and it seems to be that i have been given false leads indeed......so i'm going back to ireland and ann jane as you said, and take it from there......kind reguards frm heather
