 Does anyone know if there was, or is, a Catholic Orphanage in Meath.

Convent of Mercy, Kells, Co. Meath
St Joseph’s Babies’ Home, Stamullen, Co Meath
Good Shepherd Home, Dunboyne, Co Meath
Records, acording toi the HSE:


Regional Adoption Service, Child and Family Centre, Dublin Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth
Tel: 041 – 9832963

Previous address: 23 Park St, Dundalk, Co. Louth

Holds records for:   
Meath County Council

St Clare’s Adoption Society, Stamullen, Co Meath
St Joseph’s Babies’ Home, Stamullen, Co Meath
Good Shepherd Home, Dunboyne, Co Meath

If these don't match, it is worth remembering there were at least 5 in Westmeath.

Thank you so much for the information you sent,  I will try all of the names you listed.  I think the one that sounds most likely is the Convent of Mercy.
