Look up please for parents of William Orton married to Grace Brooks , c1765 Blaby Leicestershire, 
unable to trace on G/reunited or FreeMed,  as marriages only start at 1837.

Have you looked in the Mormons familysearch site?
They have (in their I.G.I) marriage of Grace Brooks bapt 17.3.1731 to
William Orton 2.7.1753 Blaby
Her father Thomas Brooks, mother Elizabeth.

There is a batch number and a source call, you may be able to order the film from your
nearest FHS centre?

Yes i have looked on the mormoms site and i have conflicting dates for the marriage  1765/1735,  65 would make grace seem to old for a marriage of that date?   
It,s the parents of William i am looking to find on a marriage record?

All Saints Parish Church. Blaby.  

8th. July
William Orton. ~ Grace Brooks.
.
But seeing the early date then Parent names will not be given
We don’t get this type of information until after Sept. Qrt. 1837.

But going back 20 years …..we get :~

1732
All Saints Parish Church. Blaby.
 
William. Son of William & Janit. Baptised. …. 8th July..
( but I think that should be an Ann
Seeing other records with the combination of a William & Ann Orton.)

Thanks for the information,  yes i also found an Ann ? one of many to ponder over re 1732, 
I think a break from from the searching might improve the mind.   it,s so easy to get on the wrong track in the hunt when you get a conflict of dates  and other info?

One thing they didn,t stray far in those times so most of them will be related in one way or another as they say.
