COMPLETED Eaton Socon PR - EMERY

If someone goes into Bedford Library to look up my Milton Ernest request, could I ask that he also looks at Eaton Socon please? More Emerys, who may, or more likely may not, be connected to the Milton Ernest lot. Again, there are various member submissions on the IGI with no corresponding extracted entry. My views on member submissions are well known!

Hello David, Got the Milton Ernest transcript up to 1812 at home so I will look things up this evening; havent got Eaton Socon though. I think the Escan site only has entries from 1813 forward.

Thanks John. ESCAN, as you say, doesn't have the earlier PR stuff, and FreeReg hasn't done Eaton Socon, so I'm stuck with the transcript at the library!

I have noted the Emery burials from 1655 - 1769 if you want any further info.

Noted a baptism on 14 Apr 1611 Agnes, daughter of Richard Emerie, junior.
At that time Richard, senior was still alive as he died 3 weeks later.

That's great! Thanks very much John. There's a lot there to think about. I'm interested in Agnes Mokes in 1609/10 and Cecily Moakes in 1662. It's not a surname I've come across before, so it's a coincidence that two of them should have married Emerys.
