A better digger than I!
« on: Wednesday 02 November 11 12:10 GMT (UK) »
Hey Rootschatters, here i am again in search of a much better digger than I in my hunt for a marriage record for my grandfathers paternal ancestors John Jones and Mary Halsall.

The facts as i have them are these, John and Mary had 2 sons, the first of which was baptised at Woodchurch in Birkenhead (Cheshire) in September 1834...John Jones, who later died in 1838 aged just 26 years old, is also buried, along with both sons, at the same parish.

As yet I can find no records for Mary and Johns marriage online, either at that parish or any other...
does anyone have a better means of searching the records online which may throw something up or does anyone possibly know if all records for the parish are online or if some may not yet have been transcribed?

Thanks for your time, Luke
