Group on steps badly creased.
« on: Sunday 06 November 11 20:48 GMT (UK) »
I had a great find this morning in my aunt's old prayer book.
I'm hoping my mother can identify some of the people but she can't see it very well so I was hoping someone here could work their magic on it to give her a better chance.
The second one is of no use for identity but I think it's fun, are they playing Follow the leader with the child!
Any idea of date would be a great help.

there are 2 faces in this picture that are imposible to do anything with, top left, there is not enough to work with.
and the lady stood on the right, has had her face removed from the picture. and going by the numer of creases in the picture it looks like someone has tried to destroy it

I don't think so - it looks more like she is wearing a scarf or kerchief across her face for some reason...

That's a lot better David thank you. I think the lady with the missing face is wearing a veil like the lady at the end of the row in the second photo. The clothes of the two photos don't seem to match so I think they were taken on different days.

a try from me

It may be better if you scan your future photos at a higher resolution. This is a low 96 dpi so a lot of detail has been lost.
