In order to avoid a duplication of efforts, I am posting a link to the thread regarding Langford Manderson and Sarah Chauker from the Canada forum since there have been posts made there regarding the couple in the US.

I also have family hailing from Newfoundland and have found only "Chalker" not "Chauker" as a surname in the vital records available online.  You can see baptisms here for Chalker in Brigus, Conception Bay North, Newfoundland:

Log on to the website "Find a Grave" - put in surname only, then USA, then Pennsylvania and click on search.  The result will be all interments in Pennsylvania with the surname of Manderson.  There are photographs of some headstones along with some genealogical information.  Langford (who it is stated was a Soap Boiler) is listed along with his wife Sarah and quite obviously a large number of relatives.  It is well worth taking a look.  Website is very easy to navigate.

I don't know if you have them already, but there are Philadelphia death certificates for Langford, Sarah, and daughter Katie on www.familysearch.org.
