John Norwich/Norwick

I am trying to trace John Norwich born approx 1820 in Kettering who moved to Leicester. He had a brother Samuel born approx 1832. I am trying to trace parents.

I have found a trace of Samuel in the 1841 census in Kettering Union workhouse with brother Charles and sister Charlotte but no sign of parents.

Can anyone help

how do you know for certain he had a brother samuel and charles and a sister charlotte
the only samuel norwich i can see was a baptism in 1834 in kettering of a william samuel norwich whose mother was lydia norwich
lydia was unmarried
there is also a baptism in 1821 in kettering of a mary norwich parents john/charlotte norwich

In answer to the question 'how do i know he has a brother samuel, brother charles and sister charlotte', here goes:

 I know that he had a brother Samuel as Samuel was living with John in Leicester in 1861. He is listed in the census as John's brother and was living there with his wife Phoebe (maiden name Thacker). I have found Samuel living with Phoebe's family as a lodger in the 1851 census so I think this is the right Samuel

The 1861 census lists John's birthplace as Kettering and Samuel's as Leicester so I have been looking in both places and the only listing I can find is Samuel Norwick in the Kettering Union Workhouse in 1841 with a brother Charles and sister Charlotte. The birth date is 1831 but no place of birth is listed. It may be the wrong person but it's all I've got.

that is why i could not find samuels baptism i have the c.d's of the whole of northamptonshire 1700-1843(church of england baptisms)
and samuel was baptised in leicestershire
i cannot find charles or charlotte baptism in northants either so maybe they were baptised elsewhere

on the 1841 census it says samuel and charlotte were born out of county but charles was born in county c1826 still cannot find a baptism for charles in northants though

afraid not but "seahall" on this site has i believe the c.d of northamptonshire marriages she would probably be able to help you
