JOHN MULLEN
« on: Thursday 17 November 11 17:50 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
I'm looking for any info on JOHN MULLEN born Co Wexford possibly about 1800?  He married ANN and had a son PATRICK born approx 1820 in Ireland.  I believe that the family emigrated to Lanark Scotland and had another son DANIEL who was born in 1843, who went on to marry ELIZABETH KINSHLEY.
Thanks.

To see if any Irish records of the family survive you'll need to know both their religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland).

Have a look at Introduction to Irish Records and My Ancestor came from Ireland - where do I start?.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

OK - thanks - I know they were Catholic but only know that they came from Wexford, Co Wexford.  Doesn't give me much to go on I'm afraid.
