John Mccarthy

Hey guys, i know its a long shot and its a common name but im trying to find some information on John Mccarthy and his family  born in Lismore, Ireland in 1830. all i have is an old family tree that doesnt say much, cant seem to find any information on the net. He seems to have travelled a bit.  He married his wife Catherine Cecilia Jones Born 1838 liverpool England in 1854 in ireland according to the tree. One of his sons William Henry is listed as being  Born in 1866 in New Zealand. And John died in 1882 in Australia. and info would be good

William Henry McCarthy and Jessie Margaret McCarthy (nee White) are my Great grand parents. Hope that we can swap information about them. William Henry's parents were John McCarthy and Catherine Cecelia McCarthy (nee Jones.) John's father was also John McCarthy but I'm not sure about his mothers name. John (son) was born in Lismore Ireland  in 1830 and died in Melbourne August 1882. His wife Catherine was born in Liverpool England in 1838 and died in Melbourne in April 1907. They were married in Ireland in 1854. they had 7 children.  Does this match the info that you have?
