Katherine Armitage (and children) 1901 census

Can anyone find Katherine and her elder children in 1901?

She was born in around 1869, probably Birkenhead, and in 1901 she should have the following children with her - James (1895), Katharina Ann Helena (1898) and Lilian (1900)

I cannot find them in 1901 and would like to find the children's father.  He is definitely still alive in 1901 as Katherine goes on to have Doris in 1902 and Leslie Donald in 1905.

If Katharina was known as Sissie, try:-

RG13/3387 Folio 39 Page 9 Hoylake (Wirral District)

altho there is an older lad Harold, the others are a pretty good match - but no father there 

The other key point is that Katherine's POB of Ireland matches a later census

Thank you - that looks very very possible.  I've no idea if Katherine was called Sissie as well.  the youngest child Leslie married one of my grandmother's cousins

I wonder if they are related to the Armitage's next door as well?

Do you have any of the kid's Birth Certs to reveal Kath's maiden name - cant see an Armitage marriage in the timeframe ?

Yes I wondered about the Armitage next door - could try and find him as a youngster and see if he had a brother that fits ....

good idea - there is an Ina Armitage next door and I've just looked up the daughter Katherine Ann Helena to try and find here but it looks like 1911 is mistranscribed as she is Catherine Ina Helena
