Missing Person

Hi Everyone, here i am with another puzzle for you. I have an ancestor, Catherine Parr Jones nee Palmer born (according to Census records) in St Helens in 1832. She married Robert H Jones in 1853 being wrongly written down as Catherine Palmer Parr (later birth certs for her children confirm this mistake). The family moved from living at Wavertree Vale in Liverpool to Oldham after her huband died in 1874. She makes appearances on the 1881 census living at 2 Mawbray street in Oldham but then disappears - i cant find any trace of her death or burial or of a marriage leading to a change of name. She also is not buried with her husband which still had space for later burials up to 1920. I've spent ages on this and have got no further. Can anyone help at all please!
thanks, Luke

Have you considered that she might have married again.I have an ancestor whom I could find no death for but after years of looking I discovered she re- married at age 72,this after being a widow for over 20 years.

There is a death registered of a Catherine Jones in Oldham. Details are:
JONES, Catherine, Registration District: Oldham, Lancashire; Year of Registration: 1906; Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep; Age at death: 70; Volume No: 8D, Page No: 446.
As I can't find her on 1911 census, this would fit.
Begley - St Helens & Liverpool & somewhere in Ireland.
Foster - Liverpool & Yorkshire (Ripon & Leeds)
Pendleton - Huyton & Liverpool
Milnes - Leeds & Ripon
Banister - Preston
Wales - Liverpool & Cumberland
Ireland - Prescot
McDonough - Liverpool
Quirk - Liverpool
Hunt - St Helens
Tickle - St Helens
