I am looking for any information about my Grandfather or his family
Born 1897 in Lincoln I suspect Boston But I cannot be sure
he had a fall out with his parents and no one ever knew anything about them
he always said they moved to America but he may have been fibbing we never knew 
he married my Nan Ruth Waring ( from Bootle area)
And lived in Chorley lancashire from the mid 1930s we think
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Now I have the Dates and Cerificate numbers whats the best site to use to get the Brith Death and Marraige certificates, And what is the avererage cost of these.

Sorry if i sound dumb ( its cause I probably am)  but I am new to this and would appreciate any help .

Hi,

If you search the 1911 for Reginald BROWN born 1897 Lincoln, you could find him in Prescot, Lancashire with mother Charlotte b.1873 Whitchurch Hampshire.


The odd thing is that this family seem to be called GRAHAM in 1901, they are transcribed as GRAHAM and the image looks like GRAHAM. Whether this was just a mistake by the man who was copying their original details from their form to the enumerators book or if there is a more unusual reason is yet to be discovered
