Looks like Eunice may have been entered in the PRs as Euta

Marriage 25 Sep 1831 Cotton
George READ & Euta GOSTLING
Source Suffolk Marriage Index.

Found this entry on the Suffolk Burial Index - could be the same person
Una READ buried 17 Jul 1849 age 38 Cotton

1841C  there is an entry on the 1841C that looks hopeful:
George READ 40
Judith READ 25 (add the Suffolk accent & it could have been Euta interpretted as Judith)
John 9
George 7
Robert 5
Samuel 3
Ann 5mths

There was also another entry on SBI
George READ (inf son of Euta late Gostling & George) buried 25 Sep 1831 Cotton.

The family search site brings up bpts for most of these children parents George & Euta.

You can see the parish church at Cotton on Simon's website
www.suffolkchurches.co.uk/cotton.htm

There is also a Methodist chapel (and there was an earlier chapel before this one was built)

Maybe offline for a day or three, moving house  ;D

Every time I find an ancestor,
I have to find two more!

SUFFOLK - Pendle, Stygall, Pipe, Fruer, Bridges, Fisk, Bellamy, Sparham - all link to  Framlingham
DERBY - Bridges and Frost (originally Framlingham/Parham)
NOTTINGHAM - Lambert & Selby
BERKSHIRE/then Hammersmith LDN - Fulker
LDN/MDX - Murray, Clancy, Broker, Hoskins, Marsden, Wilson, Sale

GGfather Michael Wilson born Cork, lived Fulham London - moved to Boston USA 1889, what happened next?

As a matter of interest, a lot of the Gos(t)ling families actually started out as Josselyns, but the name got changed over the years.  I have Gos(t)lings in my tree and there are numerous variations.  Thought you might like to know that, if you haven't found it out already!

Members of the Josselyn family first appear in my tree in Lavenham, and so far name variations include: Josselyn, Josslyn, Josslynne, Josslin, Goslin, Gosling and Gostling  ::) ::)  It is a shame that Ray Long's database isn't up and running again, because there was a wealth of info on there regarding the Josselyn families.
