hi i know nothing  about this photo- i just found it whilst rumaging in Huddersfield market today. i bought some great pic's of some sailors/boats and some of salt mill saltaire /haggas's mill etc. then also bought some -indentures+a couple of conveyances. as all of these were from  liversedge  yorkshire then maybe this was in the yorkshire area?

Inside the hut there are a series of valves,outside what looks like an accumulator(to maintain pressure) & a valved pipe into the ground.I'd go along with gas.
