Niblett - HELP!

Hello

I posted recently requesting help with finding out abot a Mr Niblett who had been Mayor of Swindon.  Unfortuanly no - one on his board was able to help.  however, the Mayors secretary has kindly found out the inforamtion for me.  I now know that :
his name was Mr Hary (harry?) Edwin Newton Niblett
Address:  78 Ashford Road
Occupation  - retired Major
Political party - independent
Ward - Kings
37th Mayor of Swindon 1937 - 38
Awarded OBE and DCM

This is all great, but I have not been able to find out which Milliner daughter he married and it is the Milliner family that I am mainly interested in. ( from Gloucestershire)  Is there anyone out there who has any idea where I can go from here?

FreeBMD shows that the birth of Harry Edwin R Niblett was registered in the
district of Gloucester in the Qtr to Dec 1871.

It also shows that Edwin Niblett married Mary Elizabeth Martin in the district of
Hereford in the Qtr to Dec 1870.

Hopefully, if this is the person you are looking for someone can find him on later
censuses now that you have his age and place of birth.

Hello  Ju

The Harry E Niblett aged 9 is almost certainly the one.  Thank you.  I have looked on FreeBMD before, without success - perhaps I missed something or its a recent addition.  I will post on the Gloucestershire site again with the new details.
