If that is the case, John there are 2 Hannahs in 1891 - Hannah S Powl with Thomas and Hannah with Joseph Senior, so obviously two different people so perhaps the information we have given isn't correct.

Betty, how certain are you that the Hannah who married Joseph is the right one? If you are certain, the best thing would be to get the marriage certificate as that would give her maiden name. We can then look for a Hannah xxxxx who married a xxxxxx Powell.

Joseph Senior married Hannah Powell who was a widow at Poplar,Middsx JAS qtr 1885.
in the 1891c  they are living at 53,Wakefield St Warrington.RG12 3077/19/32

Joseph was also a widower when he married Hannah in the same year that he lost his first
wife Elizabeth Denton June 1885 Stepney 1C 323

The Senior family of 3 generations moved to & from Warrington & Woolwich on a regular basis.
Joseph & Elizabeth had 7 children between 1846 & 1860 some lived Woolwich,Warrington & Chorlton in Manchester after marriage.

Looking back at what has been given to me I have noticed that there are 2 similar addresses which may be causing some confusion.

In the 1881c there Hannah Powell (H) 59 Wid Laundress living at 13 Bedford St Newington with a boarder Mary Tilley(84)
It states Hannah Powell b. Bradwell Essex (Perry Green)

In the 1891c Hannah Senior nee Powell is stated as being born Blackwater Essex (Percy Green)

I googled Perry Green Bradwell & that does exist,but when I googled Percy Green Blackwater I got no joy.Blackwater was there but no Percy Green.

Sorry but I can no longer purchase certs as I live in Spain & my postal service is terrible.As a pensioner I cannot afford to buy certs which "get lost"
