burial of John Raven from about 1805 to 1860 in St Margaret's
« on: Wednesday 07 December 11 19:38 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Please would anyone help me with the following?

I'd be very grateful if anyone would look up for me all the burials for John Raven from between 1805 to 1860 in St Margaret's Leicester (and if possible, All Saints, Leicester too).

Many thanks,

Chris

Greeting’s Again……Chris.

1813. ~ 1990.

ST: MARGARET’S :~

1838.

Parish Burial register Entry No’. 40.

John Raven.
Abode. ….Leicester.
7th. October.
Aged. ….74.

ALL SAINTS :~

NIL No records found

WELFORD ROAD CEMETERY :~

NIL. No records found.

Regarding burials before 1813.

This presents a BIG task
Have to read all the micro fiche copies of the original records for that Church one page at a time,
Therefore each Parish could take up to 1 hour to complete.

Name details NOT in alphabetical order…
Dates…… just by month order.

And usually just one liners :~

e.g. :~
Anno Domini ......

John Raven. …………. buried 2nd September

No ages or address given..
So you can never be sure you have the right one…. :'(

MIKE. ….

Hi Mike,

Thanks very much again for that; you really are marvellous!  I don't know what I would do without your help (and the help from all the other very kind members too). Also, thanks for the  clarification re the pre 1813 records.

Kindest regards,

Chris
