Rowles - Pill St George

I am trying to track one strand of the Rowles family that originate from the Pill St George area of Portishead, Bristol.

I know from the 1861 census the following:

RG9/1711 Folio79 Pg34

Elizabeth Attwell (nee Rowles) b1817
John William Attwell b1851
Rachell Rowles Attwell b1852

I also know that Elizabeth married her husband, James Attwell in 1835 and that he worked on the Pilot boats (probably with/for Elizabeth's father/family).  He was obviously absent at the time of the census.

I can find no trace of the family after the 1861 census but they reappear in Glasgow where John married Helen Lawther in 1874, the family then stayed there to present day. In the marriage book, John's father, James is "deceased" but I can find no death record for Elizabeth either in England or Scotland.  It could be she remarried and I will try to work that one out once I know the date/year of James's death.

Anyone with any connection to the Rowles might be able to help me piece this together.
