My Grandfather was born in the parish of Leswalt, in the county of Wigtown in 1886.
I have downloaded a copy of his birth entry, but can't make out the name of the town.
I think it starts Auch
Catleugh - Cunningham - Welsh - Lewis - Lumsden - Lumley-Murdoch-Hoggan-Cowie-Lester-Amos-Pearson-Herbert-Spalding
