James BIRD Born in Mells Somerset

I have a record of a James Bird listed as the father of the groom, his son John Bird who married Elizabeth Coles in Kilmerston. The son was born in 1819. I'm wondering if there is any way of finding his birth year of James and his wife's name.

If there is any information further back I would appreciate it. James was definitely born in Mells Somerset.

On 1841Census John was living at Coleford Kilmersdon aged 21yrs and a coalminer Elizabeth was 19years and Arthur was 4mths.
 on 1851 Census no trace of Arthur will check deaths   still living same address . John 31yrs still a coalminer Elizabeth a housewife together with John son 6yrs  .Ellen  2yrs Emma 3mths
On 1861 Census now living Church St Kilmersdon
John 41yrs and coalminer  Elizabeth 39yrs
John junior 16yrs Printing operator. Ellen 12yrs Scholar
as were Emma 10yrs Charlotte 7yrs   Then there were Ann and Sara 5yrs old twins and Louisa 4mths old !!!!
on 1871 Census John 50 yrs coalminer Elizabeth housewife
Emma 20yrs Dress Maker,Annie 15yrs Dress maker. Jane 12yrs Scholar ,Loiusa 10yrs Scholar  Sydney 7yrs Scholar

John  60yrs Unemployed miner.Elizabeth 59 Stocking Knitter
1891 John 70yrs Retired coalminer Eliabeth 69.yrs
Both missing off 1901 Census presumed died.

One clarification. If Robert Bird is the father of James, is 'clothier' his profession or is his wife's maiden name, Ann Clothier? Also you found out she was born outside of Somerset. Is there a way to see exactly where?

If Robert is correct and I'm inclined to think he is the right one is there any record of his parents .

Wondering if you can see a record of death for the John Bird (retired miner) who lived to be 70 and his wife Elizabeth 69 as of 1891.

 I'm wondering if they died in Kilmersdon or even Hampshire. John Sr (the coalminer) made sure his eldest surviving son had an education, so John Bird Jr was apprenticed to a printer. He went on to found the Hants and Berks Gazette in Basingstoke in 1878, as part of Bird Brothers with his baby brother, Sydney who was seventeen years younger.
 
The elderly couple may have stayed in the village near their daughters- the dressmakers, though I thought only 2 daughters survived..... Louisa married and went to live in Bath and Charlotte, a spinster, ran the stationers in Basingstoke that was part of the newspaper business.
I'm curious if Ellen 1849, Emma 1851, Sara 1856, Annie 1856 and Jane 1859 all died?
