I have traced my tree to the Norcross family in Ribchester 1700.

Does this name have a coat of arms please?

There is no listing for Norcross in Burke's General Armory, the "go to" source when taking the first steps to research whether a particular family had a coat of arms.

That does not necessarily mean that your Norcross ancestors did not have a coat of arms (absence of evidence is not necessarily evidence of absence, if you will), but it does mean that a search will be more complex and less likely to turn up positive results.

You might try making a quick inquiry to the College of Arms in London (their contact information is available on their web page at http://www.college-of-arms.gov.uk/Contacts.htm) to see if they can give you any information.
