Hi can some kind person check the parish record for Henley for the marriage of James Pritchard born 1869 at Potscomb son of John Pritchard and Susan Brown
 
     I have found ref to marriage for a  James Pritchard  in 1891 to a Charlotte Annie Foster in Henley on the free bmd website but i do not have the parish records for Henley

The Henley registration district covers several places and spans the boundaries of three counties;  are you certain that they married in a church and in Henley?  If it was a Register Office wedding then you will need to buy the certificate as these are not available on line.

Looking at the 1901 census, Charlotte was born c1874, Sonning Eye.

James as you say was born Postcombe, Oxon.

If you check the 1881 census, you should see if a Charlotte A Foster is born Sonning ..... and also hopefully see her with her Family.

well, cant see her in 1881 - 1891 she's in Service in Reading.

A family called Brooker caught my eye in 1881, a daughter Charlotte A - and I see that said Thomas G Brooker is a marriage witness.

Yes - looks like Charlottes mother, Mary Jane was previously Foster - heres the marriage to T G Brooker
