Hi Carol

Thank you for your quick reply l have looked at your suggestion and now more confused but in a good way as may have stopped me from tracing a long line,

There seems to be 2 William Briglins born around the same time one seems to marry a Ann Jackson the other Mary Ann Nicholson it just to work out which is my connection :) it does not seem that the William l had been following remarried to Ann Jackson as found Mary Ann Nicholson with husband william briglin in the 1851 census after the marriage of William Briglin and Ann Jackson.

My link to (A) William Briglin his son Edward Briglin born 1836 North skirlaugh yorkshire Edward is my 4 times grandfather, l unfortunatley can not find Edward in a 1841 census to confirm parents and no Edward is present on the 1851 with the 2 william briglins as Edward on the 1851 census is a farmer labourer aged 15 for a David clapham in yorkshire.

l think the 1841 census for Edward could be known as (Edwin) may be the answer as would only be of the age a round 5 but have not been able to find him on the 1841

Once again thank you for you help

Nadine :)
