Jagger in Hayfield
« on: Monday 19 December 11 21:15 GMT (UK) »
One of my wife's families, the Jaggers, were in the Rastrick area of Yorkshire in the late 1890's and early 1900's. By the early 1920's some of them were in Southport, Lancashire.

In between those dates I have heard that they were in Hayfield, Derbyshire and are believed to have been quarrying.

I have seen a reference to some of the family on the 1922 census but I have not yet been able to see the transcript.

Does anyone know anything about this venture and is anyone able to supply dates when this may have occurred?

Any other information would be gratefully received.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Chris

Hi Chris

Do the names Hannah or Abram Jagger mean anything to you?

Hi Heather,

Yes they do. Hannah was the mother and Abram was one of the children.

Kind regards,

Chris

I have sent you a message because we can't put 1911 information on here.
