... from Parish of Cantley .. Baptisms 1813 - 1851

1818 May 24 - Ann d Thomas & Mary Poskitt, Labourer of Cantley
1821 Feb 4 - Thomas s Thomas & Mary Poskitt labourer of Brampton
1832 Oct 21 - George s Thomas & Mary Poskitt labourer of Brampton
1846 Feb 21 born Jan 20 - Harriet d James & Maria Holmes labourer of Bessecarr Grange ..
               sponcors: W Poskitt, S Poskitt
          1847 Dec 12 born Oct 31 - Fanny d William & Sarah Poskitt labourer of Bessecarr ..
sponcors: William Thompson, Ann Thompson, Maria Holms
1851 Jan 2 - Elizabeth d William & Sarah Poskitt labourer of Low Ellers

I believe the small letter s= son and .. d= daughter .. hence Thomas s Thomas would mean Thomas son of Thomas. Plus I believe Brampton is present day Branton .. and Bessecarr is just below Cantley.
William Stephenson - born 1814 at Doncaster West Yorkshire - married Mary Scott at Cottingham East Yorkshire (Hull) in 1838. Williams parents I believe were another Wm Stephenson and an Alice Carter - married Cantley Parish W Yorks (Doncaster) in 1811..... Other east riding names are Nicholls (Bridlington, Yorks and Wigan Lancs.) and the surname Withernwick.
