Hull Library visit request

If anyone is visiting Hull Library, could you do a look up for me. Victor James Lawrence was wounded in WW1 and it is possible he may have been mentioned in the local newspaper. He was badly wounded on July 1st 1916 and is listed in the Times Newspaper on August 10th 1916 so I guess it would be around this time.
