Hi  and a happy new year. My subject, as you can see, is Thom, one Thom Higgins. That,s how it,s spelt on a 1911 census, he,s born 1909, so he,s just two years old. The address is 4 Pickering st Manchester.  I have done the marriages and deaths, there are lots of Thomas,s  but no Thom.  His parents were George Higgins and Frances, nee Hall . I would greatly appreciate any help,
                   Thankyou.

I would assume that Thom is short for Thomas.

If he was born in Lower Crumpsall, I would think the birth in the 1q 1907 for Prestwich might be a good bet, if you are thinking of ordering a Birth Certificate.

Totally agree with you Eric and was just about to post the same.  Young Thom was actually 4 not 2 by 1911.
