Haven't found anything that would lead me to Utah for either Martin  --  but you never know.....  and this marriage is 2 years after 2 children born.....so hope not


I thought JNO maybe was John but couldn't figure out why anyone would abbreviate a four letter name to 3??

No - I tried her Western Marriage Registry..... I was trying it out -  I looked for Morans and Fannings -  and that was the only one with a name I recognised !

Now that is interesting. 

Got to study the dates for the Morans re:  wher they were when

Re:  Lawrence Fanning---  brothers Matt & Pat natll in Kansas together  in 1880  -- have record of the Intent Declarations.  BUT NO lawrence which I thought was strange.  So he may have gone through the process earlier.   

? Does this mean it happened in St. Louis or that's where the records were files/kept.  Good find!

Gotta come back it a little later --  gotta do something else right now.   THANKS!
