Civil Registration:

Sarah Ann CARLESS
Birth Reg:  Sept Q 1849
District:  Aston
Ref: 16 210

or

Sarah Ann CARLESS
Birth Reg: March Q 1851
District: Birmingham
Ref: 16 306

Parts of Sutton Coldfield came under registration district of Aston.
During that period Aston was a larger area than Birmingham.

There are two baptisms at Sutton Coldfield for children with parents, John and Hannah Careless:

Hannah - baptised 13 July 1855 and Elizabeth - baptised 30 March 1858

In both cases, John is said to be a Labourer and the address is Sutton.

Sorry, no sign of Sarah Ann  :'(
