Joseph and Dorothy Marsden

Joseph Marsden b15 Sep 1839, Pudsey m. Dorothy Baldwin b Oct 1841, Guiseley on 12 Dec 1865 at Bradford St Peter.

They had one son, Harry b 1870 at Rotherham.

They are together on Census for 1871, 1881  and 1891 and then both disappear. I cannot find them in 1901, or see any deaths that fit above details.

Can anyone suggest where they went, or where to look?

 Joseph Marsden  Lodger 61 born Pudsey  Joiner

In a household of Thomson  - 3 family and four lodgers  - he is down as single - could this just mean he had no other family with him??

Several Harry/Henry Marsden deaths which fit age wise.

these two maybe more likely 

Henry 23   Prestwich Lancs 1st Quarter     1892    8D 287

Henry 29  Manchester        3rd Quarter     1899    8D 228

Seems they were living in Blackburn Lancs in 1891 -  so the Blackburn death for Dorothy seems possible doesn't it? 
 Manchester and Prestwich (now part of greater Manchester) aren't so far from Blackburn I know.

Hi Wiggy,

Yes, I think you're spot on with Joseph - although it shows up here as "Joe".
His occ shown as 'Joiner' on previous three Censuses.

Still sorting your other suggestions  ;D

Thank you so much, Wiggy for Joe/Joseph 1901 , so now to check for a death.

Dorothy d 1897 in Blackburn looks good too. Don't know how I missed that one!  :D

I have Harry living in Blackpool 1901, as boarder/barman at Hotel. ??
