Hello,

I'm struggling to find Thomas Simpson's birth.
From the census' I have found, he was born abt 1832.

He was married to Maria (also spelt Maryah).

Could anyone help me find him please?

where do later census, 1851 etc, say he was born?

Is he the Thomas living Brompton Northallerton in 81 census?

Yes Thomas Simpson is from Brompton, Northallerton.

I have a transcript of baptisms in Brompton 1813-1903.

Looks like the first child born to Benjamin and Jane was Ann baptised 26/10/1818. 

Family search has a marriage between Benjamin Simpson and Jane Mitchinson 6/4/1818 in Brompton which looks promising.
