Hello Carole,
Thanks for this, but due you know anything about the Elizabeth Jordan that Daniel married?
Or do you know of a 'Yvette' who I think lives in Holland / Belgium who has Daniel in her family line?  I have lost Yvette's e-mail address so I cannot seek any more info from her.

My interest in Elizabeth Jordan's of this period is that a Elizabeth Jordan gave birth to my 3 X Gt. grandfather James Jordan b. 1808 and baptised in Sarratt in June that year.  Not to be confused with another James Jordan bapt. April 1808 in Sarratt, son of John Jordan.

Such are the perils of searching for your ancestors!

Thanks for the information CaroleW

Something for me to chew over!  Just have to try and dig a little deeper regarding this Elizabeth.

There were twin daughters born to Ephraim & Mercy (Saunders) Jordan, Elizabeth & Ann Jordan b. 1790 Kings Langley, into which came Chipperfield.  Now I have also found a burial for 'a Elizabeth Jordan' infant 1790 in Kings Langley!  Who is this?  Why can't family history be simple I say.
