Family of John Proctor Fuller
« on: Wednesday 11 January 12 16:31 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone please help me find the family of John Proctor Fuller? He was born 2nd July 1806 and baptised on the 27th July 1806 in Stepney (St.George in the East). I have managed to find that his father was named Richard  Fuller and his mother was something like Bettinia but cannot find her maiden name or if he had any siblings. Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Betty

In case it helps for future searches, the original register for the christening gives Mum as "Britannia" and there is a death of Britannia Fuller in 1830 (buried 27 January) at Christchurch with St Mary & St Stephen, Spitalfields, gives her age as 63 therefore born around 1767

Have you considered her maiden name might be PROCTOR. Quite often the case where a child has a surname as a second name.

Thank you Ruth and Ian. This information is very useful, it seems his mother was quite old (for those times) when he was born so likely he did have older siblings. I haven't as yet managed to find the marriage of John Proctor and Britannia.
I have considered that Britannia's maiden name may have been Proctor but so far no luck.
