Was wondering if anybody would be able to look up a baptism for me.  Mary Gill 4th February 1779 Thirsk.  Am looking for any information which may appear, father's occupation etc.

Hi Val,

Looked at the baptism for you today:-

Mary Gill born 21 Dec 1778, baptised at Thirsk on 4 Feb 1779, daughter of Thomas Gill, weaver, junior.  Mother's maiden name: Elizth Kirton.

I also noticed Ann born 11 May baptised 25 November 1781, daughter of Tho. Gill Junior, labour, mother Eliz. Kirton.
