Couple for Dating Please

More Drury Family photos for Paul....Please could you give us an idea of a date for this man & woman who I think could be husband & wife and appear to have been taken on the same day....The backs are plain with no info.

That man's almost smiling! She ain't, though

Man's long collar with the rounded points (round points!!! ) started just after 1900 and the lady's pompadour hairstyle just a little before that. Both were replaced with different styles just before the war. But as we can't see much else, stylewise, I can't give you much of a narrower window. Call it around 1907, give or take 5 years? Not very good I'm afraid, Carol

Do we know where Williams & Williams were located?

Ah, Williams & Williams...Swansea, Bristol, Shrewsbury, Bath, Newport. The only other photo I could find from them also shows a vignette from about the same time period. Also a man, so no further clues

Hi China...They were based in Shrewsbury where this family originated from...but also at various other locations.
"Round Points"...aren't they French roundabouts

Found a few more but only one with the same cardstock, and nothing dateable in it.

But have a look at this...did the lady have a brother? Similar face!

I might have to look on the 1911 census for Drury males still living in Shropshire...what age would you put them at China...Mid-late  20s?
