Does anyone know where Galway Square was or is in cork city, about 1920??

I can't seem to find any reference to Galway Square, so just in case someone sees a different name I'll attach the name!

Don't know about Galway Square but in the 1921 Guy's there is a Galway Lane listed off Mulgrave Street  near Shandon.

I did look on Guys and have looked at Mulgrave Street but can't see a Galways Lane??

Is there a district name / number written on the cert? Not just 'Cork' but a smaller district.

Yeah the district number is 6, so it does narrow it down a bit, hadn't thought of that!

District no. 6 would rule out Mulgrave Street area. No 6 was in the Sheare's Street/Washington Street West/Hanover Street area.
