St Mary-Bredin Canterbury SKINNER & SHENTON
« on: Thursday 19 January 12 20:02 GMT (UK) »
Could someone kindly give me a transcript of the wedding details of Edward Skinner married Hester or Ester Skinner on 6 10 1677 at this church according to IGI records.  I think she is a Walloon baptised in the Dover French Church in 1652 but I would like to verify?

Many thanks

Welcome to RootsChat :)

I doubt the marriage entry would give any more information, but this looks like her birth, from Registers of the French Church at Dover, Kent:

Dimance, 5 Decemb. 1652

Ester, fillie De Lionel Skynner et Ester Bultel sa femme, ne Le 12 (or 11) Nouemb. 1652.
Baptise Le 5 Decemb. 1652. Paryn, Daniel Skinner, L'aine.  Marynne, Marie Bultel, L'ainne, et Ester Bulteel, femme de Pr Bulteel, Sara, femme de Guilliaume Nepuen, represant sa place.

Thanks Betty but I had already found that record.  I wanted to satisfy myself that this is the same Ester or Hester that married Edward Shenton.  Thought that marriage record of witnesses or their home parishes or even fathers might give me a lead.
