Foreign WWI Soilder
« on: Saturday 21 January 12 22:26 GMT (UK) »
Evening,

Among my family photos I have a photo of what appears to be a foreign (not British) solider from WWI. The Back of the photo reads: Gilberto & Annamaria, 16 Apr 1916. The photo is below. Is anybody able to put any placement to this photo in terms of country etc?

Thanks in advance.

Actualy Allied Soldier rather than Foreign. Italy and Japan were with the Allies during World War I. Italy suffered terrible casulties and Japan was best known for overrunning the German Colony in China.
