Thomas Brickett (Mayor of Salisbury: 1519)
« on: Monday 23 January 12 20:23 GMT (UK) »
Good day,

I am researching the 'Brickett' family tree. My grandfather's research highlighted that there was a Thomas Brickett who was a mayor of Salibsury in 1519. There was another Brickett who was a mayor of Salibsury in 1630. I am interested in seeing how he rest of my family tree links in with this Thomas Brickett.

Interestingly, Thomas Brickett was the founder of a charity that built an alm's house for the use of 5 poor men or woman. I have a photograph of the plaque in Salibsury commemorating the event. The alms houses are situated in Dragon street, Salisbury. The alms houses were built in 1534.

I suspect that Thomas may have had a son called Robert. I have no further information and was wondering if anyone had any further information?

Please note that I previously posted the same message into another filed - anyone with information to please respnd to this message.

Thanks!
