Fanny THILLER

The only mention of Fanny Thiller I can find is in her marriage on Sept 5th 1808 in Fisherton Anger to Ambrose Phillips.
Ambrose and Fanny had one child William Ambrose Phillips born 10 Sept 1808 Alderbury.
The surname Thiller does not seem to exist in England so I am wondering if it was a mistranslation or was she from elsewhere.
Ambrose married again in 1814 so presumably she was dead by then,but I can't find a death for her.
Any help or suggestions gratefully received.

Her surname might have been TYLER? I wonder if son William had her name on his marriage certificate - it might have the correct spelling and her POB if you're lucky.

Was Ambrose married prior to Fanny?

There is a baptism for Mark PHILLIPS 27 Feb 1803 at Alderbury to Ambrose and Lucy. Marriage would have been 12 May 1799 to Lucy OFFER, spinster at Britford, St Peter.

Yhank you for your suggestions,Wiiliam Ambrose married in Australia, so was able to download his marriage unfortunately no help,no place for names of parents
Yes Ambrose had been married before, to Lucy Offer they had John,Luke and Mark.Lucy had died prior to the marriage to Fanny.

Have you seen the memorial plaque for William Ambrose? Let me know if you haven't and I can email it to you. Unfortunately it doesn't give Fanny's surname but I wonder if she can somehow be tracked from the convict records?
